Professional Audio Services provides location sound recording and mixing for corporate videos, documentaries, broadcast and feature films. We can provide recording of as many microphones and tracks on location as needed, with high end mic preamps and microphones, ensuring world class sound quality no matter the location or power availability. Our entire recording system supports full video sync and can run on batteries for twelve hours non-stop. We can perform edits immediately after recording, playback over loudspeakers or multiple headphones, and provide music playback with full time code sync. We can also perform ADR on location, saving time and money, and making replacement dialogue match the ambience of the location. We also have a 2nd unit equipped for recording ambient sounds and effects on location. Since we are a Michigan based company, our services qualify for the Michigan Tax Incentives for Filmmaking.
Professional Audio Services provides video assist services, with instant playback and on the fly editing in Sony’s Vegas or Final Cut Pro. Formats include DVCAM or S-VHS. Our system consists of one rack with video decks, laptop and monitors for the operator, and a director’s cart with monitors, speakers, headphones, a lit desk for papers or a laptop, and even a locking drawer to store personal items. Additional monitors on stands are available. Our system sets up within minutes and can run on batteries for up to twelve hours straight. Our operators are professional, personable, and easy to work with, even in tense situations.
